Inspired Her Celebrates Female Voices Through Art, Supported by the Victorian Government

MELBOURNE, 14 JULY 2025Inspired Her Talk & Exhibition, a pioneering initiative celebrating women’s artistic expression, today launches its global open call for artists. Jointly presented by Australia Women and Children Protection and Development (AWCPD) and Creative Asia Foundation (CAF), and proudly supported by the Victorian State Government, World Trade Centre, Artspie, and Asia Media. The project invites women artists worldwide to transform personal stories, cultural heritage, and social dialogues into powerful art. The exhibition will be hosted at Creative Asia Art Centre (CAAC), World Trade Centre Melbourne.

PURPOSE & THEME: AMPLIFYING WHAT DEFINES HER

Under the tripartite theme  Claiming Names · Kindling Lights · Igniting Resonance — the initiative aims to:

"Foster cross-cultural dialogue, empower women’s perspectives, and honour the emotional landscapes unique to womanhood through multidisciplinary art." — AWCPD Spokesperson

Claiming Names — Establishing her identities

On this stage, each artist shines as an independent force. Through this exhibition, they carve their names into the journey of art, marking their creative legacy.

Kindling Lights — Illuminating her power

Art is a lighthouse guiding growth. This exhibition will showcase how women navigate complex identities, transforming culture, memory, and experience into works that shine their unique light.

Igniting Resonance — Awakening her echoes

Beyond individual expression, this is a collective response. The exhibition amplifies women’s voices, resonates with audiences, and forges art into a bridge for understanding, connection, and empowerment.
