Public Screening & Project Showcase
Real Stories. Real Students. Safer Communities.
Join us for the SafeStudy Film Lab 2026 Public Screening & Project Showcase, a special afternoon celebrating creativity, student voices and scam-prevention awareness.
Organised by Australia Women and Children Protection and Development Inc. (AWCPD)Â and supported by the Study Melbourne Inclusion Program (SMIP), this event marks the culmination of a student-led filmmaking initiative that transforms real-life scam experiences into meaningful short films.
Throughout the program, international students have collaborated on storytelling, scriptwriting, acting, filming and editing to produce educational films highlighting scams commonly experienced by international students in Australia.
