Launch Event & Film Community Networking
Join us for the official launch of the SafeStudy Film Lab Program 2026, an innovative student-led initiative empowering international students through filmmaking, storytelling, and scam-prevention education.
Organised by Australia Women and Children Protection and Development Inc. (AWCPD) under the Study Melbourne Inclusion Program (SMIP), the event will introduce a collaborative creative project where international students transform real-life scam experiences into impactful short films designed to educate and support multicultural communities.
The launch will bring together students, student ambassador, filming community team members, creatives, multicultural organisations, and supporters to discuss international student safety, digital awareness, and the power of storytelling in community education.
